Happy Anniversary

Replacing Emoji...

Happy Anniversary To my amazing husband Danny. Today makes 5 years, and they truly have been amazing. We are strong and have been through some crazy things together. I would not change anything, not even the 2 long deployments because I feel we are who we are because of what we have been through. My love for you only gets stronger as time goes by. I love you and always will. Thank you for being you and for putting p with me for as long as you have. Look forward to the many years ahead.

I love you!

Last Friday in 2011

You were a good year overall. My husband was not deployed and that is awesome in my book. I really love having him around. My baby boy has grown up so much. I love when he says hi mommy and hi daddy it's so sweet sounding and just plain cute. We moved and I must say I'm not hating Oklahoma. It has its downs but we make it work. I love being close to family, they are less than five hours away. That's much better than the 33 when we were living in Washington state. I've made some good friends, but do miss my Ashley in Washington. No one in our family passed and this is a relief because we have had a pretty crappy past few years when it comes to losing family. Most to cancer, I hate cancer. I grew and shrank in size, haha it is what it is. Maybe I'll do more shrinking in the new year.

Please don't go by fast. I want to take it slow and enjoy every day. I want to cherish every moment with my friends and family. I hope to learn tons of new things. I would love to become healthy, the change my lifestyle kind of healthy. I hope to make money and help contribute to our family, all while still raising Aiden. The thought of daycare all day is scary and I don't think I could do it so fingers crossed for a part time thing, or I could just get really good at selling jeans. Need to be more out going for that to happen, something else I hope to accomplish in the new year.

I hope that everyone has an awesome new years, have tons of fun and be safe. I'll be here in Texas with family playing games, drinking and having a good time.

Here's some pictures from this week I wanted to share. Aiden and daddy playing on the swings and the outfit is just cute, loving the dress and glasses. Aiden loving the toy he got in his stocking, such a cute face. Aiden and Ariyanna playing at the park; it was nice getting out of the house.

Are you excited about the new year?

It;s ok thursday

It's okay Thursday.

Its Ok Thursdays

It's okay to love spending the holidays with family.

It's okay that this year was the second time I have ever opened presents on Christmas morning. I think it will be a fun new tradition for me.

It's okay that I know most of the songs on bubble Guppies.

It's okay to sleep most of the 19 hour trip and have your husband drive, he's a better driver anyways.

It's okay to be excited about having sauerkraut for dinner on New Year's, it cooks all day and a crock pot it's yummy. Family tradition.

It's okay to enjoy having family around to help with Aiden, it's nice having a break.

It's okay to be enjoying my new iPad 2 and have a app recording me talk and typing everything I say. Such a lazy butt today.

It's okay to love Dr. Pepper.

It's okay to think about whether or not I should have a job.

It's okay to wonder if I can handle having 2 kids.

It's okay that me and my husband did not give each other gifts for Christmas or for our anniversary coming up. All that matters is that we have each other.

It's okay to be nervous about the new year and what It has to offer.

It's ok to share random things with you.

I love that Aiden wanted to hold her new cousin Jeremiah, he kept saying baby it was cute. I love the family rules and movie quotes I found on pinterest. Also those little booties are so cute.

Guest Post with Ashley from Faith and Love will carry us.

Today I am on the road to Texas to drop off our dogs at my moms and then off to GA we go for Christmas. I have one of my best friends Ashley guest posting for me today. She is also a Army wife and got news that they will be moving to Germany soon. This will be her first time moving over seas and had her share her thoughts. She is very new to blogging so swing by her blog and show her some love.

Faith & Love Will Carry Us
                            Germany here we come......

During the spring, we found out we would be getting stationed in Germany. Thankfully, we have had time to sit and think about what will come the following year. Now that the year is almost over we are kind of preparing for the move. It’s not easy with them keeping us in the dark about specifics. Paper work has to be filed and sent up, kids need screening, passports need to be made, the list goes on and on..

So here are some of the battles I have within myself at this time:
I am excited - a new adventure
I am scared  - not knowing much of the language
I am Happy - that I will finally meet my older sister Judith
I am fearful - of how my kids will handle such a different lifestyle
I am overjoyed - in thought, that I will see places I've only seen in movies and pictures
I am stressed - over the finance of it all

I am half in it - and half way not
I see my list of pros and cons but either way I see it, I know..
I'm lucky, I have a brother and sister there, I have two healthy boys, I have an adventurous husband, and
I already know of family members who are saving up to come visit.
I worry and I stress over the littlest and dumbest things (I'm sure)
such as, what do we take, what do we sell, what do we leave behind?

I am thankful for being in America, my home sweet home and I am indulging all that I have now and know I won’t have there, such as a cell phone with the same number that I've had for years, DVR and Comcast so I can watch my shows right away; internet that I know how to fix and download music from. I am grateful that I can drive across country to see family when I need to. I am so many things.

I'm thinking that God has given us an opportunity to live simple lives. It’s okay to not have all the technology you’re used to, all the comfort that America gives us. As long as I have Him and the boys of my life, He will carry us; He will show us the world in a different light. He is teaching me something I never knew I needed.

I am no stranger to foreign lands; I've traveled to many places: Mexico, Canada, Aruba, and Costa Rica to name a few. And, of course, across many state lines of my home land. I’ve just never LIVED outside of America. So I guess it’s time for me to take it all in and look on the bright side.

After all, God created this world for all of us to enjoy, so I guess it’s time to sit back and let God take the Wheel, and flow with the adventures that he planned just for me.

It's ok that I'm the Girl........

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK
that I'm the girl

who will wear her pj's all day if I have no plans.

who loves with all her heart.

that is always trying to please everyone.

that wishes she could be a a super mom, the ladies on TV make it look easy.

that wishes for world peace when she sees a shooting star, or blows out her birthday candles.

that misses her dad everyday.

that hates confrontation
that wants to work and help contribute to this family, but also wants to be there for my son everyday all day.

that hates WAR

loves cartoons and could watch them all day.

that wishes she was more outgoing.

that loves dancing and blasting music while she cleans.

loves getting hugs and kisses from my son.

adores her husband.

that thinks people are always judging her, and wishes she could say something.

wishes she could sing good, it's fun

that gets nervous about a lot of things.

that loves Dr.pepper and kettle chips

who sucks at spelling and hates math.

that is excited and nervous to be trying for baby #2

What are you OK with?

I would love some guest posts, let me know if you would like to do one for me.
Have a great day.

Junk Drawer & Zebra duct tape

JUNK to me is just random stuff that is lying around the house and I don't really have a place for it or to lazy to put away that I find myself throwing it in a drawer in the kitchen. I've always had one and they always get out of control.

This is what mine is looking like:

Paper, pens, tools, coupons, batteries, cords, medicine, toys, and much more.

SO I cleaned it again, put away things and organized my mess.

I'm just happy I can close it again. Not sure how long this will last.

Do you have a spot in your home you just put things, just because???

Duct tape project for my sister Melissa

Found this hanging on my sisters wall and thought it looks so plain. The room she had it in is themed and had a bit of zebra print.

Duct Tape I love you

Can't wait to see it up in her apartment. Had to add pictures of her kiddos of course.

Done anything crafty lately?
