Goodbye future cold.

When I came home from Zumba yesterday  a box full of this was at my door. So sweet, I am ready for when my 100th cold wants to show its ugly face. Thank you Aunt Rhonda. Zumba kicked my butt which seems normal for not working out almost 2 months. It was nice to get out of the house. After Zumba went to the park with a friend and let the kiddos run around in hopes to wear them out for a nice nap. However I did not get so lucky and my lil man did not think napping was a good idea. Just my luck.

This weekend went by slow, and we did nothing. Just hung out at the house and on Sunday I cleaned.  Not a exciting weekend, but I guess it's nice to just relax. Have a busy week ahead, going to start doing Zumba again and going to keep Aiden busy. I start working in 15 days, so going to enjoy the next 15 days off. :)

It's ok Thursday

It's ok ......

That after almost two weeks I'm finally starting to feel better, but wish I was 100% better. 

That on Tuesday aiden and I almost slept all day.

That I'm happy about having a job but sad to be away from Aiden.

That I'm planning Aidens birthday, even though his birthday is in April. 

That we just cleaned up the leaves in the backyard, but lesson learned and next year we won't wait so long to pick them up.

That all our bushes except for one in the front is dead, I'm going to try and have a green thumb this year. The front of our house was so beautiful when  we moved in and of course once we moved in we had no rain for over 100 days. 

To have TV days. 

To have to stay home all week because one car is out of gas, payday can't get here any slower. 

To talk to my mom everyday, I love her. 

To love when my husband gets home 30 mins early.

kid friendly apps

HORSE

My hubby and I played a game of horse with our sons basketball hoop. We suck! We were trying to make insane shots. 

 

It was a short game but it was fun. Love family time. 

I wanted to share some apps for the I Pad 2 that my son loves. He has his own folder and knows where it is and plays and learns tons. It's amazing how fast he caught on but glad to have kid friendly apps.

One of his favorites is the PBS one. It's free ( all his apps are free). It has all the shows on there and he enjoys super why and dinosaur train. Both shows are very educational.

Another one, called flash English is just flash cards. He knows to slide his finger over To swich the cards and he repeats the word. It's adorable. 

A funny one is called talking news, which is a dog and cat that repeats everything they hear in a funny voice. Aiden loves it and it makes him laugh all the time. 

The last one I wanted to share is the alphabet song, aiden sings along and I love that he is learning. 

All the apps in the folder are free, check it out if you have a little one and an iPad. It's fun watching them learn.

I feel blessed to be loved by such an amazing man. 

I still have every single letter, card we got each other. 

My husband was such a romantic, still till this day reading his love letters gives me butterflies. Being 25 and having such a strong love for him and my son is something I never thoughtgets old get. I'm lucky. 

Valentines Day is getting close, do you already have plans? Are you or your husband the romantic? Both of you maybe?

If you're stumped write a LOVE letter. It is from the heart and who does not like getting love letters? Now a days with text messaging, social media sites, and email, hand written letters are not an everyday thing anymore. I remember getting a letter almost everyday while I was in school from danny. He would be working all day and we would swap letters after school, he would go home and I would go to work. His letter always put a smile on my face.

I use to know how to fold my letters so many different ways,

I love getting gifts that I can have forever. Don't get me wrong I like flowers and candy but that lasts like 3-4 days and I've eaten all the candy and the flowers are dead.

Sharing my dream bathtubs.

I love relaxing in a bath, but it's hard to do when the water won't even go past my legs. The only time I get the nice relaxing bath is when I visit my mom. I hope to have a amazing bath in the future when we own our own home.

Ready for Spring cleaning early...

My organized mess

I've cleaned the closet to many times, so time to rethink the situation. It holds anything and everything crafty. 

Moveed into our den. The boxes are diaper boxes with paper, the Poo actually says photo can't see it it though. Everything is organnized so now I'm thinking I need to organize more. Next are cables... Waiting for the hubby to be home for that though. 

I do have this free for something to go in now, just need to think of what. 

I have to get this house back together so when I'm working I won't be sitting their thinking damn my house is a mess. :)  Maybe I will do spring cleaning early..

Warning: this post contain a lot about my son, just a proud mama. 

My son went potty. He's getting so big. My hubby and I are sitting watching tv and Aiden takes off his diaper. I look at him and say no diaper means you have to pee in the potty. We have our potty chair in the living room, and it seemed to work. Aiden takes the diaper off and walks straight to his chair, it was adorable. He was sitting there with his hands together and tapping his feet, gets up and walks away. I did not hear anything but looked and sure enough there was pee. Happy dance, high fives and hugs and kisses. He did so good, acted like it was something he does everyday. I now think it may be time for the full potty training, he must be ready. Aiden also walked down our small steps with out our help and no scooting. Also said house, story, and hamburger. LOVE watching him grow. 

Aiden and I have been sick again for a few days. I've noticed the last few mornings that his room seems colder then the rest of the house, so we are trying to put the heat higher to see if that helps, it's worth us burning up in our room. This will work until we get a space heater. This plus the weather never making its mind up is why he is sick. I'm sick because I catch things easily. I'm trying to make an appointment with the doctor to figure out why. Just some blood tests will help, I know it. 

For those who read in a previous post I had an interview last week, good news I got the job. I am going to be a breast feeding consultant at the WIC office. I've breastfed Aiden up until 2 weeks ago, but other than just being a breast feeding mom I have a lot to learn, so need tons of training, but it will be nice to help contribute financially again. 

I just want to thank those who read and just want to say I don't have the best grammar and I suck at spelling and I'm sorry, but happy that you still come back to read what I have to say.

That my son makes me smile everyday. He is my everything.

That my hubby was off on Monday, and since I was sick all day lying on the couch he did everything for me. 

That on biggest loser they split up the loved ones. Love the twists.

That I got the job.

That by the time I finally get a doctors appointment I will no longer be sick. (ok this actually sucks) 

That the birthday dinner last weekend was tons of fun, and they loved the cake I made. 

That I get to make 5 people homemade gifts, I have a year to make them but will try really hard to finish as soon as I can. 

 

That my son is a pro with the iPad. He really enjoys all the learning apps.

I have three tattoos, the first one was stupid. I was 18 and just wanted a tattoo. The 2nd one is the one I am sharing....

My 2nd tattoo, love this one. Faith means a lot to me and got this wonderful word because I needed it. I along with my SIL and husband got the word faith. My husband was going away on his first tour to Iraq, 5 short months after my dad had died there. Needed my faith to be strong, and believe that my husband would come home safe. 15 months later he was back in my arms.

It's ok to love pinterest for dinner ideas.

. The potatoes are what I found on pinterest. Sliced potatoes and put butter in both sides, put on a non stick ungreased pan and put in 400 degree oven for 4o minutes. Put cheese and bacon bites on and put back in oven for cheese to melt. Yummy

It's ok that I'm 25 and just finished my first book that has a movie out before watching the movie.

I finished reading The Help last night, and excited to see the movie sometime soon.

Its ok that it took forever at the doctors for Aiden yesterday because we caught a ear infection early so hoping the ear drops help. 

Its ok that I want to try to make a cake tomorrow, I'm no baker but I am going to try. Here is what I am going to try and attempt.

Its ok that I hate paydays, because it always seems like its all gone in a day because of bills, I really hope I get this job. Ready for a good financial year!

It's ok that winter decided to finally show up, but it's not ok that it will only last a few days and then warm up again. This is how I get sick. 

It's ok to be embarrassed that my email got hacked a d everyone in my  contact list got a link  for male enhancements. It sucked. 

It's ok to be ready for the weekend. I am always ready for the weekend.

Guess who is going to start training for a 5k? This girl! Starting today going to workout and then going to start the couch to 5k training. The 5K is in May and this will be the first time I've ever done anything like this so it is exciting and I really hope to accomplish this goal, and will be loving it if I do. 

I'm loving that I got a phone call today from the lady who interviewed me and she says that I should be having another interview next week. This is great news. 

I'm loving my friends and having play dates. Here is the kiddos having lunch. 

I'm loving that I improvised a car carpet with a blanket and duck tape. Aiden loved it. 

I'm loving my hubby has a three day weekend. 

I'm loving that my son no longer needs us in the room with him to go to sleep, super nanny sleep routine works. 

I'm loving that teen mom 2 mom Janelle might go to jail, she needs to rethink a lot of stuff. She drives me crazy. I wish she would try to be a better mom instead of just talking about being one.

I'm loving that my little '95 Nissan is awesome when it comes to gas. 

I'm loving the new recipes I found on pinterest, and will show them as I cook them.
