New look and Long week ahead

I thought it was time to get rid of the black and bring in some spring color.

What do you think?

This week I will be in Moore OK, for the breastfeeding educator course, looking forward to all the info I will be getting, and all the new things I'll be learning. I'm not looking forward to being away from my boys again. Its crazy, but I love the chaos and running around even if it wears me out.

 However when class is over I will be trying to sleep as much as possible, my sleep schedule is out of whack because everything for what now feels forever to me there is something wrong, and its hard to sleep. Hope I can just get some rest while away.

Once the weekend hits, we are off to Texas to help one of my sisters move to Tulsa, I look forward to seeing family, swimming and having a date night while there, fingers crossed.

Hope to be on here catching up on some of your awesome blogs while on lunch, and I guess at night if I cant seem to sleep this week. Hope you all have a great week.

Mommy!!! Mommy!!!!

Last night I went to bed at the same time as we were putting Aiden to bed. It was later for Aiden then usual. I fell into bed and I could feel all my muscles throbbing, I was so tired I could have cried. I was not going to move, and on cue Aiden starts screaming MOMMY MOMMY!!!! This is when I would normally just up and run to him because he sounds scared, or like somethings wrong. Not tonight, I was not going to fall for my 2 year old games. He knows how to makenhis voice cry sound serious, and he's mastered it. I fall for it all the time, I run in and then he smiles and thinks its time to play, or read, or even thinks bed times over and gets out of bed. Well poor little guy did not when last night cried for less then 10 minutes and was knocked out, and slept thru the night. This mama woke up at 8:45 and feel I finally got enough sleep.

It's been awhile since I've linked up with Jamie for What I'm loving Wednesday. The past few weeks were hard, I seem to just stay sick and was not very happy and did not seem to love anything. I just wanted to be normal, go one day without pain. I pray for those who have to live with some type of illness everyday, I have family that does and it breaks my heart, look up to them because they seem to make it work.

So here's what I'm loving

That I'm off today, going to catch up on cleaning and sleep.

That my husband is home, there are many men leaving/ deploying and I'm blessed this time around and Danny is staying. 

That the Relay for life team has been kicking butt and raiseng a lot of money for helping those with cancer. I am still $40 short from my goal, so if any of you lovely readers want to help click the link. Thank yo so much.

That Easter weekend was a blast, loved watching Aiden enjoy searching for eggs.

My job, it's amazing to talk and help women with breastfeeding. 

That my son has learned so much from the bubble gubbies, and all the educational app on the IPad. 

That I'm blessed for having a friend who watches Aiden while I'm at work, it's nice to be worry free, and know he's in good hands. 

That tonight I'm making tacos for dinner, my favorite.

That Aidens and Johnny's ( my nephew) birthday is at the end of the month, very excited. 

That I found a app that reads the Bible to me, I've tried reading it my self and it's just hard.

That we got the Hunger Game books and my hubby is going to read with me.

That my BFF made it to Germany safely. Can't wait to send out the first box. 

That today I'm getting a patio set, been wanting one for so long. 

And loving my boys always.

Weekend fun

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. I wanted to share some photos from this weekend. It was so much fun watching Aiden look for eggs, we had fun with some good friends, and enjoyed family time together. I sat and thought of past years and family traditions which I hope to continue.

Let's start with the bunny veggie tray I wanted to attempt from pinterest. Here is the picture again I found on pinterest. 

Here is how ours turned out, which my hubby helped with. Very sweet of him.

Coloring eggs Saturday morning. I baked the eggs, so glad they came out good.

Went to a friends and celebrated Easter Mexican style. The food was awesome, and the kids loved the egg hunt and piñata.

Easter morning, my little man was all dressed up. Outside was wet so we hid the eggs inside. 

Sunday night, Aiden liked hanging out in the laundry basket. Silly boy.

Sad the weekend is over, and back to work I go. It's only 9:00 am and my stomach is already in knots for the weather headed our way tonight. Isolated tornados.... I'm such a chicken, wish I could just go hide in a tornado shelter, which I don't have. Pray the storms are not bad for us or anyone.

Nails &'Easter

I tried my best to to a French tip. 

My nails have been crazy long lately.

What I'm doing for Easter.

I found this awesome idea, putting the eggs in the oven. It's takes about 30 minutes which I know is longer then boiling them but I can put them in the oven and set a timer and go set up the table for the coloring and dying of the eggs, don't have to watch or worry about them all cracking. Check it out.

The Burlap Bag 

This bunny is insane and not sure how to start but I will try for the Easter party this weekend. Wish me luck.

Growing up my parents always hid our Easter baskets and plan to do that with Aiden, the hiding spots will just get harder the older he gets. I've decided to get very little candy and fill his basket with books, crayons, coloring books, chalk, crafty things. Excited to go out and get stuff once I'm not contagious, which I'm not sure when that will be. Doctors gave me the rest of the week off, so I guess once all my antibiotics are gone I'm good? Not really sure.

A few weeks ago me and a few friends found a cute spring wreath on pinterest and here's how mine turned out. 

I'm very  happy with how it came out.

Missing XOXO's

I swear I can't catch a break. I'm stuck home because I have strep....being contagious is very lonely. I've tried being distance and not all hugs and kisses with my boys so they won't catch it. It sucks, this mama is missing her XOXO. Pluse missing 3 days of work will show on my paycheck, not cool at all. 

This year is really flying by, Easter is this weekend, thats just insane. I started blogging after Easternlast year, can't believe I've been at this for almost a year, and I love it. I love looking back and reading old posts, it's fun seeing the changes. 

Praying that I will be all better by this weekend, want to make Easter specail for my boys, and hope to hang out with some good friends. Wish I could be spending it with family, but they will be here at the end of the month for Aidens and Johnny's Birthdays, very excited for that, doing a superhero theme.
