Spoiled or Normal?

Every time I go visit my mom, or she comes here I have something for Aiden. Oma spoils him, he has so many toys that his room is full and the den. Went through some and reorganized the rooms, so now its not just everywhere. Is is just easy to spoil your little one when he is the only one or for those of you that have more kids does it change once a 2nd or 3rd comes into the picture?
I know that with clothes I have learned that they grow up super fast  so I don't need so much. I had so many new outfits that Aiden never got to wear, and that their is nothing wrong with consignment. While I was pregnant, everything had to be new, lord how the tables have turned. I LOVE CONSIGNMENT STORES now.

Aiden's Room

I went to goodwill yesterday, and found two pictures frames and a book that was from my childhood. Spent a total of $4.00. I love redoing things so I spray painted one of the frames black, then maroon, and then black again but lightly. Still need to work on the other frames but here's the one I did finish. Made another dry erase board.

                                         Before
After (you can't really see the maroon in this picture)

My parents had got us girls the whole set of these books when I was growing up, I just had to get it because I thought how cool would it be to read one of my first books as a child to my son.

Found a cute craft on a blog and thought I'd give it a shot. Made a magnet.

Some pictures of my lil' man.

He was very tired, good thing we were headed home for his nap.
He is such a dork.
His eyes get red when the camera flashes, just like mine.

Tattoos,crazy weather and crafts

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beautiful niece Isabell. Turning 3 today.

Love you!

Crazy Weather
The past week here in Oklahoma is a little crazy for my blood. I scare very easy and over think a lot. I think the worst always, so I worry when danger is near. Today there was 3 tornado's within 40 miles of us, and still have a watch as I am writing. I hope it does not get bad, because I want to sleep. Also today we had a 4.7 magnitude  earthquake, and a few days ago we had a 5.7 magnitude which broke a record here. We are suppose to have more in the next few weeks that may be a little stronger. Just think this is abnormal for here, and wanted to share the craziness.

Crafts
I finished another tutu dress for a friend, it;s just like the very first one I made for my niece a few weeks ago. I think it's pretty. What do you think?

I wish I could make a living making crafts, I Love making all kinds of things.

Here are a few things I am going to be trying this week.
Going to have to thank Pinterest as always.
Going to visit these ladies blog as well, bet they have tons of awesome ideas.
The pictures are linked to their blogs so go check it out.

Turn wine glasses into candle lamps. The blog has a pattern for the lampshade too. Easy, customizable, inexpensive and a nice way to dress up a table or room for a party.

So how many of you have tattoos?

I have three and my husband has five. I hate the first one I got. I was 18 and flew to Texas from Germany to get my license. I thought it would be cool (NOT). It's what people call the tramp stamp. It was a stupid teenager move. My 2nd one was meaningful. My husband, his sister and I decided to get the word Faith. It was  a few months after my dad had died in Iraq, and My husband is about to leave to go to Iraq. Looking at the word faith was going to help remind me that even when something bad happens, there will still be good.

Here's Mine

Here's Danny's

Two years later we found ourselves eating dinner right next to that tattoo shop and thought it would be fun to just go in and get new ones. Their was no planning at all.

Fun with our phones Monday

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I came home from Texas on Friday, missed my hubby. Went out to dinner and bowling with some friends, and cleaned. I did not get much cleaning done, but I really don't care. I'm tired. I got to thinking about friendships today and let it get to me.

Aiden's first time bowling.

If you or someone you know is in the military then you know that moving a lot is normal. Moving is hard, but something I have become very use to doing. The hardest part of the whole moving process for me is making friends. I meet so many new people, and love that. I've learned to take friendships slow, I don't rush in. It's takes me awhile to call someone my Best friend, I have Lot's of friends, but only 3 best friends, and one of those is my husband. Of course I want more, just takes me awhile to open my heart. I guess being a army brat and now wife has done this to me. Army has always come with drama, so I lay low it's my thing. I've opened up to many people in the past to quickly and got hurt. I wonder sometimes if I had not moved every three years since I was born, if I would have more true close friends? I wish I knew what that was like, but I don't. People are in and out of my life all the time, so I deal with it.

How long does it take you to consider someone your best friend?

I've been in Oklahoma now for almost 6 months and have met some awesome ladies, they make living here more fun, and we all have kiddos which makes it even better. Aiden loves our play dates, and I always look forward to them.

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK

that on tuesday I dropped everything and went to Texas because I felt my family needed help. Family is first.

to miss my hubby, haha 3 days. I've done two tours, but if I miss him after a day then that's love :)

that yesterday I was like a zombie, only had 3 hours of sleep.

that Aiden was so cranky yesterday that it made me cry because I felt so helpless.

That I'm just a nice person? I never really get upset. I guess I just want to keep the peace, But sometimes that bites me in the ass.

Ok this is not just ok but SUPER adorable and we can thank ms leighton, Ashleigh's baby girl that Aiden now always hugs everyone. Leighton taught him this. :)

What's ok with you?

Project 365 with Aiden's 1st year and a big bump! Ouch.

Project 365

My son was born April 26 2010, and I love watching him grow. My husband Danny came home from Iraq for RR, 2 days after Aiden was born. Those two weeks always go by fast but love every second we have together. While he was home we got new i phones, and I bought the project 365 app. I love this app and going to share Aiden's first year with you.

(Sorry the pictutes came out small on here, but if you click the picture they look better.)

Still have 2 months of 2011 left to go, he has grown up so much. Taking a picture everyday captures so much. When I look at the pictures I remember what we did that day. Love this app!!!

So last night Aiden was playing with  one of his many toys in the hallway while Danny and I were watching TV. Out came a loud cry and I jump and run to him and find this......

My heart was hurting so bad. I was on full panic mode.  This was the FIRST time he really hurt himself. Called the ER, my mom, and my aunt who was a nurse. They all said the same, and I ended up not taking him into the hospital. Turns out it just looks really bad. I cried because I felt so bad, I had him sleep with us last night until we woke up at midnight. Then we watched some cartoons until finally going back to bed at 330 am. It was a long night, but he's bump his much better today.

If you have any kids, what put you in panic mode?
or
As a child what happend that scared your parents?
